The Motor-Vu was operated by the Interstate Amusement Co. in the early eighties, as was the Grand-Vu in Twin Falls.

As of 2015 this drive in is officially closed. Cinema West leased it for a season, but did not renew the lease due to a flood in the concession stand during winter. Cost to reopen was not feasible and the digital conversion was never made.

MagicValley.com reported that the drive-in’s fence was down and the screen would be dismantled around the end of the year. It was to become a storage facility. The article said that the Motor-Vu was built in 1947 and began operating in 1948.
