It has been used as a venue during the Jacksonville Film Festival, so movies have been shown there, but a day here and there probably does not a movie theater make.

From the Francis Wilson Playhouse, Clearwater: We record the Little Theatre of Jacksonville as an old institution, but list a start date of 1939 as a result of a local funding project to build this theatre for the original purpose of community theatre. We also record that the funding project goes back to 1919 when we suppose theatre plays were already in production. We also record a Mandrin schoolhouse in the Jacksonville area as the site of the first amateur play in Florida at the turn of the century, exact date unknown.

This is the Harold K. Smith Playhouse. It was never a movie theater not even for a day. You could check its history at theatrejax.com
