Durkee Enterprises' Colonial Drive-In was one of over 400 drive-in theaters designed by architect Jack K. Vogel.

Now Forest Plaza Shopping Center. Home Depot is where the screen stood. Outback Steakhouse is where the indoor theatre stood.

Great shot of these two theatres, wonder if 1 manager ran both places since they were right next to each other.

An article about the Colonial Drive-In appeared in the February 4, 1956, issue of Boxoffice Magazine. The architect was Jack K. Vogel. It was the first drive-in in Annapolis, and was built for Durkee Enterprises.
