Drivein101 has the correct date. The premier features were “Reaching from Heaven” with Hugh Beaumont and Cheryl Walker and “Saddle Tramp” with Joel McCrea and Wanda Hendrix.

My father, George Jolley, used to manage this drive in theatre in the 70’s. We lived at the theatre in a mobile home supplied by the owner. I was a full time projectionist there at the age of 11. It had a ferris wheel and carousel, both of which were not working when we arrived. It had a 500' throw from the projector lense to the screen. The front screen was so large that it had to be concave for the lense to focus at the outer edges.
