This theater was opened in 1969 and closed on July 16, 1994 with Nick Nolte in “I Love Trouble”. It was used by a couple of businesses before it was demolished later in the 1990’s.

It was located to the left of the end of the Belvedere Shopping Center and behind Blimpie Subs. It was relatively hidden.
An opening this month or early March is the target for the new BELVEDERE CINEMA in the Belvedere Shopping center. The Brick and steel theatre is being constructed by Mack Stewart. Percy Osteen will lease and manage Anderson’s new movie house.

According to an article in the 7/13/1994 Anderson Independent-Mail, “I Love Trouble” would the last film to play, at 9:20pm that Saturday 7/16.
