Here’s the color photo that raybradley mentioned in a comment here in 2006. The LostTulsa.com web site is dormant, but I found this captured at the Internet Archive.
I have no idea about the rights to this photo. It accompanied a post about the Tulsa TV Memories site and its association with the American Institute of Drive-in Archeology. The photo matches a black and white photo from the Griffith-Video Independent Theatres Collection at the Oklahoma Historical Society. That version has flaws and glare not present here; I suspect it was taken from a later picture calendar. The entire Lost Tulsa blog was CC-licensed, so that might apply to this photo if the blogger happened to be to one who took it decades earlier. Unlikely, but who knows?

The more I look at this photo, the more I think it was colorized for a calendar. There’s a hint of a hole at the top, and the edges of the wind-blown plant above the Now! sign are green past the plant itself. I love how this looks, but I doubt it was real.
