The Orpheum Theater in Cuba opened on West Side Square (S. 3rd Street) by 1916. In the late-1930’s, the name was changed to the Cuba Theater, and a few years later, it received a final name change, the Fulton Theater. The Fulton Theater closed during the 1950’s, and was later converted into a bar.

An Orpheum Theatre was operating in Cuba as early as 1916, when the May 20 issue of The Moving Picture World ran a brief notice that the house had suffered a small film fire that was extinguished by placing a galvanized box over the projection machine.

Theater was probably in the south half of the Whitnah Opera House, which is a bar in a picture from the early ‘70s, and still operating today. Address is 129 S 3rd.

Can we confirm the location? I have a picture of the Opera House, and will add it if it’s correct.
