The Ritz Theatre was opened in 1933. Owned by Jones Amusement Company. The building was destroyed by fire on May 22, 2004.

Listed as operating in Film Daily Yearbooks 1941-1950 editions that I have. The seating capacity was 400.

Sorry for the off topic nature of this post, but for some reason I’ve been getting notices regarding this theater and not only have I not subscribed to this particular thread, but until now I’ve never posted here. How is this possible? Methinks there are Ubangi’s in the fuel supply!
