The East Windsor Drive-In was opened October 26, 1950 with James Stewart in “Broken Arrow” and Paul Douglas in “Everybody Does It”. It was torn down and condos built on the site in the early-1980’s.

I had this in my territory as a city manager for SBC theatres along with the East Hartford in the late 70’s.

Construction began in August, 1950, according to Boxoffice, issue of August 5 that year. The architect was Charles H. Abramowitz.
