The Strand Music Hall exterior

The Strand Theatre was built in 1939 as a movie theatre. It was operated by the Memphis, TN based Strand Enterprises Inc. chain. In recent years it became the Strand Theatre Music Hall. As the name implies, country music is performed here. There is also room for dancing. If you can’t dance, there are seats so you can watch.

2013 photos have been posted. The word “Theatre” has been dropped from the signs.

The format is country music and Bill Gaither style gospel.
