The live pre-show at the Broadway Theatre in Newburgh which is playing “Don Q” in 1925. The prologue stage show was entitled “La Espagnol” featuring these performer doing live numbers from “Carmen” to set the mood for the film. Few theaters continued such elaborate stage prologues into the 21st Century.
