Jewel Theatre 218 N. Main Street, Poplar Bluff, MO

The Jewel Theatre was opened on September 1, 1922. I remember going to the Jewel Theatre as a kid. It was up the hill and to the left of the Rodgers Theatre. The last film I saw there was that 1960’s horror movie “Day of the Triffids” starring Howard Keel. That, and the floor was sticky… Notes by Sticky Floor
