The West End Bioscoop opened in February 1941 and was designed in an Art Moderne style by architect Pieter A. van Stuivenberg who also designed the Cinelandia Bioscoop in Willemstad.

The West End Bioscoop was closed by the mid-1990’s and was demolished in 2001.
