To celebrate the Columbia film “Arizona” at its 1940 premiere, Rita Hayworth, William Holden, John Mack Brown, Guy Kibbee, Hedda Hopper and Melvyn Douglass are among the many Hollywood celebrities appearing on the stages of five theatre playing the film - the Plaza, Lyric, Fox, Rialto, and Temple of Music theatres and Art in Tucson. President Roosevelt sent a telegram while the mayor and governor were on hand.
