Hopefully the inside is not what AMC did back in the 1970’s to the Midland in Kansas City, left the original auditoriam intack but converted every ‘storage closet’ they could find into an auditoriam.

A view from 2009 of the closed down Sundance and next door the classic Red Goose shoe store building which presently appears to be a bar.

The Sundance opened around Thanksgiving of 1991; saw JFK and Alien 3 there. A rather unusual theatre in that it was built into a tall but narrow building so the 11 theatres were positioned on various floors; escalators were needed to access some of the theatres. It’s now a conference/meeting center; the boxoffice was out in front on the sidewalk separate from the entrance and you can still see the discolored tile in front where it was.

well ok since nobody answered. no guys there’s nothing inside that was there before. AMC should of fought for this spot and let go of the other AMC that’s down the street. but it was weird that AMC owned and ran two theaters in the same location. this location was the best one the design the sound the look was amazing and the sad part was the owner of the location pushed out AMC because they were going to use that location for yuppy business meetings and housing but as of now its still empty and nothing has been done to the location. really sad man because I’ve seen sooo many box office winners including titanic which was amazing watching that film in a packed auditorium.
