The Strand Theatre was opened by 1924, and was across the street from the Paramount Theatre (aka Broadway Theatre) which has its own page on Cinema Treasures.
The Strand Theatre was modernised by Walter Reade, reopening November 9, 1959 as the Baronet Theatre. It was demolished in the mid-1990’s.

This theatre was DEMOLISHED in the mid 1990s.

This theatre was renamed the Baronet about 1952, as was the Ocean in Asbury Park, when Walter Reade did major renovations to most of his theatres, and the chaser Baronet signs from Reade’s Baronet in NYC went to the two new Baronets, one to each theatre.

This was right north of the Paramount, but the address is just a large empty space now – all covered in grass.

I wonder if this item from the October 10, 1925 issue of Motion Picture News could have been about the Strand?
