Lee Cinema opened in 1980 and was refurbished in 2002. Until the refurbishment, it had a wall near the ticket booth comprised of cutouts of old movie posters, this has since been replaced with newer posters.

It was closed in January 2009.

The lee cinema 1&2 has around 480 seats. the Theatre is now closed. after trying to keep the heat system up and running and business around there was poor. in April 2008 it under went major repairs has new floors major cleaning new paint etc. i am sure anyone that went to this cinema before it opened back up in June 2008 it was in bad shape. almost everyone had quit going cause of its bad reputation ,and poor management and ownership. in June of 2008 it opened up with new ownership and management. and better service and better food at the consession stand and better movies . business never did really pick back up. and later closed it’s doors in Jan. 2009 . if any one has any pictures or memory’s about this old twin cinema. please feel free to share.

Has to be one the worst looking twin theatres in this country. It had to be a mom and pop operation.
