Photograph showing the Gaumont Bournemouth during November 1968 after closure, engulfed with scaffolding. This was the beginning of the end, followed by years with insensitive carve ups of what was once a majestic building with an iconic interior, gradually banished under layers of modern brick, wood and plaster.
