Many 1930’s cinemas contained restaurants which were open to both general public and cinema goers. The Regent cinema Bournemouth was no exception with its large 300 seat palatial restaurant visited many times by holiday makers over the years from 1929. The brochure No.1 above was published in 1950 by Odeon for their cinemas that still had restaurant facilities.
