The cinema added an IMAX theatre on October 15, 2010. Its first film was Inception: The IMAX Experience followed by Paranormal Activity 2 the week after.

Same thing in Montreal, they found time to install an UltraAVX system, but forgot to change the sign outside.

Went here today and after almost a year from when it was sold to Cineplex, it STILL has the big AMC on it like the photo above. If this was any other business like a grocery store, dept store, restaurant chain etc, it would definitely have the name of the chain on it almost immediately. Surprising that Cineplex Entertainment the dominant theatre chain in Canada has not done this with any of the AMCs they purchased last July. Enjoyed Man of Steel though.

I like this theater, but they really need to work on security. Any time I’ve ventured there on a Saturday evening, there’s always a group of teenagers with nothing better to do than hang out there. They’ll pay for one movie, then stroll from theater to theater, disrupting those of us who’ve actually PAID to watch a movie.
