Nugget Theatre

The Nugget was your typical small town theatre. It was more or less store front wide. The Nugget was last operated in about 1968 or 1969 by a guy named Jim. He was the former manager of the Center Theatre in Grundy Center, Iowa. The projectionist was Charley Brown from nearby Lincoln, Iowa.

The venture was short-lived and the Nugget was closed again in less than a year. The community has since built a new theatre and event venue in about 2002 or 2004.
