Another ad for the first Ingersoll Theatre built within Ingersoll Park. It was here that most Des Moines residents would have seen their first motion pictures. Fred Buchanan and his Ingersoll and Bijou Theatres worked in Selig Polyphone films and Kinidrome short films, respectively, with live vaudeville. Des Moines would have more than 25 show store movie theaters by 1914 as they loved the new medium.
