This theater was in operation in the ‘teens in Atlanta, "on Peachtree Street, near Tenth Street" (according to an Atlanta Constitution article). The theater was definitely active by October 30th, 1915. It seems to disappear near the end of February 1916 - the last newspaper announcement that I can find is February 29th.

This may have been a fly by night theater opened specifically on the philosophy of "selected pictures," a Better Films movement concept in which morally ‘good’ films were selected and promoted; this philosophy in contrast to giving morally ‘bad’ films free advertising by trying to censor them. This relationship seems to be implied in the theater’s self description over these dates, and in the very name "Selecta."
