This was the first four-plex to open in the Twin Cities. It opened on October 20, 1971. The opening attractions were “Billy Jack”, “Summer of ‘42”, Disney’s “Aristocats”, and Woody Allen’s “Bananas”.

It was operated by the Northwest Cinema Corporation. It was closed in February 1998.

It would later be operated by Cinemaland Theatres in the 1980s.
