The La Belle Theatre was opened July 16, 1936 with “Early to Bed”. It was a conversion of a closed garage by A.H. Learned & W.L. Ainsworth who used the plas of architect R.A. Sutherland. It was closed in the mid-1970’s and converted to a mall. The Pratt truss roof is still in evidence when viewed from the rear.
