The Avalon Theatre was opened on March 25, 1926 with Douglas Fairbanks in “Don Q Son of Zorro” By 1941 it was operated by the Evergreen State Amusement Corp. It was closed in 1956.

This 2007 article from the Bellingham Business Journal has a history of the Avalon Theatre and a couple of photos I haven’t seen before.
