Located in Lakewood to the west of Cleveland, OH. The Lincoln Theatre was opened in 1923 when it was operated by the Ohio Amusement Co. It was closed in 1950. An overlooked theatre in Lakewood that was still standing in 1974. It was similar to the Detroit Theatre, also on Detroit Avenue which is now demolished. It was located a few blocks east of the Westwood Art Theatre.

The Cleveland Architects Database identifies James W. Chrisford as the designer of the Lincoln Theatre. It opened in 1924.
A book called Lakewood: The First Hundred Years, by Jim and Susan Borchert, says that the Lincoln Theatre was in operation from 1924 to 1950. The Borcherts list a total of eleven movie theaters that have operated in Lakewood over the years.
“Opened in 1923 were the Lincoln and Lakewood theaters. The Lincoln, on Madison at Arthur, had 1,000 seats and cost $100,000 to build.”
“To announce its opening, manager Glenn Crockett organìzed a parade of automobiles. The lead car carried a machine gun, which periodically was fired skyward. There were some serious objections to the firing when it persisted while the caravan was stopped briefly in front of Lakewood Hospital.” Lakewood Sun Post April 27, 1989
