Cinema Le Stockel

Located in the east Brussels district of Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, in the Stockel neighborhood. The Cinema Le Stockel screens mainstream first-run films and arthouse films.

It opened in 1956 with “Daddy Long Legs” starring Fred Astaire. It was originally owned by the Ceupers family. Between 1999 and 2006 it was known as Le New Stockel. Seating is provided on a stadium plan, with a raised stepped section at the rear instead of an overhanging balcony. The cinema is now owned by the city of Brussels.
