The Triumph Theatre was situated in Luk Yeung Sun Chuen, a private housing estate above the depot of the Mass Transit Railway Tsuen Wan Line.
The theatre opened to business on 27th January 1984, and showed first run English language and Chinese dialect films until its closure on 1st March, 1996.
Its 1,086-seat auditorium with Dolby sound system was on the ground floor of the theatre building.
The theatre building has been rebuilt internally as a restaurant.

Triumph is now a restaurant run by the Maxim’s group. I went there yesterday and found the restaurant was decorated as a theatre with small balconies on both sides. It didn’t seem to be the original features as I remembered the auditorium was quite steep with no balcony.
