Georgetown Square Twin

The Georgetown Square Twin was designed by Katzman Associates of New York for the K-B Theatres circuit and opened on December 21, 1973 with “Oliver!” and “The Seven-Ups”. The architecture of the cinema was unremarkable and basic; two long and narrow auditoriums seating 402 in one and 344 in two, with a small lobby and mezzanine restrooms.

Although the building was converted into a sports gym in the late-1990’s, some of the remnants of the cinema still remain intact, but blend in so well that they are hardly noticeable.
