The former Windsor Theatre, located on N. Laramie Avenue near W. Ferdinand Street in the Austin neighhborhood, was in operation from at least 1916 and closed around 1931. In 1941 it reopened as a playhouse theatre name Austin Community Theatre. It had closed by 1946 and the building was in use as a warehouse. Today, the building houses a church.
