Located in the Orange Grove district on Louis Botha Avenue at 10th Street. Originally a regular neighborhood cinema, the Royal Cinerama opened on 30th December 1965 with “Battle of the Bulge” presented in 70mm.
The Royal Cinerama closed in 1980 and the building was converted for use as a television studio.
