The 8-screen Odeon opened on 18th September 1998. With a total seating capacity of 1,638 and with capacities in the screens ranging from 398, down to 86. On 16th October 2020 it re-opened as a Luxe cinema, with a reduced total seating capacity of 599 due to installation of larger reclining seats.

As of Friday 16th October 2020, Odeon Maidstone has reopened after a big refurbishment in to an Odeon LUXE. All 8 screens now have recliner seats and screen 8 has been converted to isense.
New seating capacities of the screens at Maidstone LUXE Screen 1) 30 Screen 2) 32 Screen 3) 39 Screen 4) 39 Screen 5) 91 Screen 6) 91 Screen 7) 138 Screen 8) 139 (isense / Dolby Atmos) All screens are all wheelchair accessable
