The NorthPark 6 was put into operation by United Artists December 7, 1984.
It was the number one theater in Odessa for fourteen years, but finally gave way to the bigger theaters in December 1998.

The building stood vacant for five years then was refurbished and was showing movies as of 2004 and reminds us of yesterdays gone by.

Don, Tiny Correction-The NorthPark building was refurbished in 2004, but it was never reopened as a movie theater.

I see reference to Wallace/Hollywood operating the Northpark 4 in Midland. Last I saw, the NorthPark 6 was being used by the university.

CORRECRIONS IS RIGHT—The North park never reopened after closing.
The building was remodled, but no movies returned..
Wallace Operated Century 12 & Hollywood, and I think in 2011 they
still are, bt not positive,
United Artists got crushed by the Government—Never did know what
