I really enjoyed working at the Ultravision, it was truly a class theatre. Each side sat approximately 750 people if memory serves me correctly. They definitely knew how to make a theatre back then. The screens were huge!
This was the exact model used here in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Ours was a Purpose Built Twin Screener. I practically lived there on the weekends when I could afford it. It was located at Pembroke Mall. When Cineplex Odeon opened up it’s indoor Multiplex They tore down those magnificent structures. Pisses still to end. They could have ran it as a “Cheap Budget Last Chance Cinema” Twin Screen to pump more money into their company.
