Located in the southwest London inner-city district of Brixton, within a railway arch at 26 Brixton Station Road. The Popular Bioscope Theatre opened in 1910 by Emile Savage. It was briefly re-named Pleasure Land Cinema. Last operated by J. Lazarus as the Station Cinema, it was closed in 1921.

In 2009, a clothing shop operates from this address.

There was also another Pleasure Land Cinema which briefly operated in 1915 on Atlantic Road (it has its own page on Cinema Treasures).
