Originally opened as the Gem Theatre. It was renamed Liberty Theatre by 1930. The Liberty Theatre is still listed in 1955. In 2015 it is in use as a children’s bouncy house play center.

The address on the Liberty/Gem Theatre should be 105 S. Madison St., Malden, MO 63863. The building is still standing and in use.
I saw Tom Sawyer there as a kid in the 1950’s.
