Fairyland Electric Picture House

Fairyland Electric Picture House was a small early cinema, most likely a shop conversion, which was located next to the much larger Amhurst Hall. It was operated prior to the Cinematograph Act, which when that was introduced in 1910, the conditions of the Act closed it down.

In 2009 a Curry’s electrical shop operates from the building. By 2018 it was in retail use as Kingsland Groceries & Seafoods.

the building still stands as a small shop unit, it is now numbered No46, and stands on the north side of Stanborough Passage (which still comes up on google maps) a rough drawing of what it may have looked like attached
