The 1,412-seat Chai Wan Theatre was a neighbourhood theatre in Chai Wan on the Hong Kong Island.

It opened to business on 4th February, 1970 with a Cantonese film, and showed first run Chinese films at normal price and selected English films at reduced price until its closure on 1st June, 1975 for redevelopment.

The new mini Chai Wan Theatre with a high rise residential building was built on the site of the former Chai Wan Theatre.
The 551-seat stalls only auditorium was on the first floor of the theatre building with the lobby on the ground floor. It opened to business in January 1979 and showed first run Chinese films until it closed in June 1993.

The auditorium and the lobby was converted into a church.
