Roxy Cinema

In Sint-Genesius-Rhode a small Flemish town with ‘language facilities’ because of most French speaking inabitants.

Since the 1930’s this entity has two cinemas the Trianon Cinema, and the best known the Roxy Cinema in 1955, when the Cinema Rio in Sclessin was damaged by a fire. There was an evening of hommage in this cinema. It was an all family cinema although “Loving You” was shown there in 1959. It closed in the mid-1960’s and was demolished soon after.
