Opened in October 1973 the Milford Plaza Cinema was one of the first tenants of the Milford Plaza Shopping Center located on Route 113 North of Milford, Delaware. The opening attraction was "Paper Moon".

The Milford Plaza Cinema was owned by Paul Wilson who also owned twins in Seaford and Chestnut Hill Delaware.

The Milford Plaza Cinema (as well as the other Wilson twins) was nothing more than a private label version of the Jerry Lewis design and concept. It was a store front strip center operation. The Milford Plaza Cinema only lasted until the early-1980’s when it was converted into retail store space.
