As a part of a special “Thank You” to volunteers and everyone in the Community who had donated or offered assistance to the theatre in some way, a special block party was held and the new marquee was brought to life for just one night on June 8th, 2013. The name B. Price was drawn from a raffle, entitling her to be the first person to flip the switch and “Light Up The Night” with the newly renovated and up-fitted marquee. This was the first time in thirty years the marquee was fully powered, with 100% of the neon and ambient lights activated. It was also the debut of the new additions to the marquee: the upper letter board and the diamond topped, neon tower centerpiece.

The theatre group plans to occasionally turn on the marquee to announce fundraising events and mark renovation milestones up until the theatre is in full operation.
