Located on the famous Drury Lane, in central London’s Covent Garden district. The Electric Palace of Pictures opened on 29th March 1909, and was a shop conversion. It did not meet the licencing requirements of the new Cinematograph Licencing Act and was closed by 1910.

It went back to retail use. In 2008, the building was the East Thai Restaurant and by 2015 the Jar Kitchen.
