Skyview Drive-in

This was a sizable 800 car drive-in in Brockton, off route 28 near the West Bridgewater town line. It was closed on September 13, 1980 with Richard Pryor: Live in Concert" & Richard Pryor in “Which Way is Up”. It has since been demolished for a new 55+ community. However, the former entry/exit road is still there, used as the driveway to the community.

I read a brief history of the old Brockton Airport, which existed from the 1920s into the 1950s and it said that the Skyview Drive-in movie theater was built over the southwest corner of the airport property.

Wasn’t there another Drive-in in Brockton? This would have made 2.
