The August Moon Theatre was a neighbourhood theatre in the Tsuen Wan district in the New Territories of Hong Kong.
It opened to business on 14th September, 1963.

Its 1,357-seat air-conditioned auditoriuum with stalls and balcony was on the ground floor of the theatre building. The theatre was equipped with Simplex-XL projectors and Simplex -IXL-4-12 sound system. The width of the screen was 40 feet.

In the afternoon of 25th September, an 4-grade fire broke out at the theatre, and the auditorium was badly damaged. The theatre had to be undergone extensive renovation before it could be re-opened.
It showed selected Chinese language and English films in its early years, while first-run Chinese films were shown in the 1970’s and 1980’s. In the remaining years before its closure in the second half of 1992, adult films were shown.

A residential building was built on the site of the theatre.
