Village 10 - 435 Burwood Knox, Melbourne, VIC - 1988

Located in the east Melbourne district of Wantirna South. The Village 10 was opened on 3rd November 1988 in the District Centre (today re-named Westfield Knox). It was the first Village-Greater Union-Warner Bros multiplex in Australia. Four of the auditoriums were THX certified. It was closed in 2001 converted into a retail use.

In 2003 it was replaced by the Village Knox a new 15 screen cinema 50 metres away (which has its own page on Cinema Treasures.

Opened on 3/11/1988. 10 screens. 2228 seats(1988 to 2001). Closed in 2001. New cinema complex 50 metres away opened on 14/11/2002. 15 screens. Number of seats unknown?
