Located in the Tijucana district of Rio de Janeiro. The Cine Olinda opened in 1940, and was one of the largest cinemas to operate in the city.

The building had a large tower on the right side, that had the name ‘Orlinda’ vertically placed. In a large panel over the centre of the facade the name was placed horizontally.

It has been demolished and a shopping centre built on the site.
