Rand Theater

The Grand Theater opened in 1915, located on Crawford Street (now Pulaski Road) near Sixteenth Street in the North Lawndale neighborhood. A 1924 advertisement in the Chicago Tribune lists this as one of a number of theaters showing Paramount movies.

In 1948, the theater was renamed the Rand. It closed in 1949. By 1951, a metal working shop is listed at the address of the former theater. Today, the building serves as the All Nations Church in God.
