The Talladega Drive-In was one of two drive-ins in this East Alabama town. The Talladega Drive-In opened in 1949 and parked 300 cars. There was a special parking spot for African-American patrons. Like so many theatres in the South, it was a Martin Theatre.

Opened in 1949, the theatre created a special spot for African American patrons in June of its first year of operation.
