Pussycat Theatre

Originally opened as a 16mm adult cinema on September 23, 1970, it went over to 35mm projection and closed as the Venus Adult Theatre in 1982. It became one of the Pussycat Theatres from November 11, 1983. It was closed in 1987.

The closed building was still standing ‘For Lease’ in 2003.

The Venus cinema opened on September 23rd, 1970, and raided by police the next day. Grand opening ad posted.
